Twin Lakes, WI gets its’ name from nearby Lake Mary & Lake Elizabeth which spans nearly 1,000 acres. The lakes were named for the first set of twins born to early settlers on the prairie. Twin Lakes has a long history as the prime home site for Native Americans as well as settlers who arrived later. Twin Lakes was incorporated in 1937 and today is famous for its’ Aquanuts ski show.
